I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I'm a bit of a Max Factory fan, and to a lesser extent (not that much less) a Good Smile Company fan. Well, with that in mind, I wanted to point out Akinajin's extensive coverage of the Max Factory/Good Smile booth at Wonder Festival 2006 winter. It shows off the upcoming Gun x Sword PVC, the scantilly clad Mizuho, and AWESOME Etna figure, among others. Many others. Anyway, also be sure to just check out the Akibajin main page for some more Wonder Festival coverage.
Thank you for continuing to enjoy my completely unbiased news coverage.

Oh wooooow! That primer spray can is soooo HAWT! 8-P
The cheezy villain-of-the-week formula and little continuity made me stop watching "Gun X Sword" but I hear it really picks up and becomes worth watching from about episode 13.
The release of plentiful Gun X Sword bootay seems to be timed perfectly with my intentions of picking up of the series again.
Fasarina reminds me of foxy Ohno from Genshiken. :-)
Van looks like he's doing a damn good impression of Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before X-Mas… or Plastic-Man :-P
VOTOMS seems to be making a huge come-back these days.

I've never watched Gun x Sword. I probably never will. Haha. I do like the red head in the black and white dress. I couldn't find a listing for her on the Good Smile or Max Factory sites though. Do you know what she's from? >.>
And yeah, Van is looking a bit spindly.
On an unrelated note, I started Ichimashi tonight. It's funny so far.

The fine looking red head in the black and white dress is named "Igunis". She's a character from a hentai game entitled "Jingai Makyo."
Her tentative release date of July 2006 actually fills a gap in my pre-order schedule. Hmmmmm….. :)
Waaaah! So many figures, so little money! :(

Keen thanks. One of the scripts I was using to convert the kanji over into a more recognizable form (romaji or katakana or something easy. YAY!) just wasn't working at all.
Yeah, I missed my early bird pre-order on Saki because I was doddling. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I DO!
Also her name is sort of stupid. Igunis. You justk now a Japanese person made that up. Of course, it's probably some real name in a Nordic coundtry and now I've turned off all the readers from that part of the world! :'( O double edged sword, thy name is comedy.

I was a little off regarding her name. It's "Ignis" which is Latin for "fire." Turns out I had desktop wallpapers from the game on my hard drive but had no idea of the source.
Ignis… At least that makes some sense… One translation script brought up "iguana" as a partial match. :P Yeah, imagine a hot, lithe, sword-wielding babe named "Iguana". Ha!
Didn't have much luck with the kanji either. I think very loosely translated, it infers a "City of Lost Souls" or "Demonic City of Lost Souls"… something like that.
Too bad about Saki. Think she'll go like gangbusters like Koyori? (Still no word on my Koyori pre-order :(

Ignis makes a lot more sense, although, I'm terribly partial to Iguana now. And doesn't the name just fit? Haw haw haw.
When I translated it, I got the same thing. Oh well. I should like to play that game, anyway.
And the Saki, I just missed the discounted early preorder. Hopefully when I order on March 2nd, I will be early in the preorderl ist and still get one at launch. :D
