Finally! I know I've been waiting for this one for a while, and of course you have too, even if you like 2000-tan better, you will still be excited to know that a date and price and finally been announced for Yuuyu's XP-tan PVC. Fine! I won't keep you in suspense any longer! She's set to come out in late August and she will cost you 6,090 yen. If you think that's a bad price, then you aren't my friend anymore because 1.) it's XP-tan, c'mon and 2.) she's a full 21.5 cm tall. That's a good size.
P.S. The skirt is removable.
P.P.S. Picture after the jump. YOU KNOW!

If I picked that up, that'd be the first "camel toe" figure ever in my collection. :-P

But would it be the last? That's the important part.
Also, her stockings seem to be a bit too small, or maybe that's comfortable?
Still, I think I speak for everyone when I say, It's 2000-tan that we want! GIVE IT! Oh, and CE-tan.

LOL! Probably not the last. :)
They should release a twin-pack figure set: Unix-tan and Linux-tan. That'd go over big in the computer geek world.
What would have been neat is if these OS-tan figures could actually be plugged into a USB port and offer some functionality like, say speakers, or they have a flash drive inside or something. That'd be expensive but cool!

I want to see Ubuntu-tan get turned into a figure. She's uber-super kawaii to moe desu. Haha, man, that's fun to do.
It's HILARIOUS that you mention the USB figure thing…

I've seen PVC figures that light up when plugged into a USB port but that's all they do. I've never seen USB PVC figures that offer that kind of functionality before. Cool! :)
Definitely the birth of a trend here. I can see episodes of a TV series/OVA stored on USB flash drives and sold as figures.
Well, maybe that won't happen immediately unless the use and penetration of media PCs increases dramatically or stand-alone player/recorders adopt USB or accept removable storage. Yeah, fat chance but one can dream.

Episodes of shows and OVAs on USB-enabled figures would be fun, although I would be hesitant to buy one because I know how they like to cheap you on the episode count. And then, if it's a newbie company (which it would be) the encoding could be all lame/proprietary which could make for crappy video. Still, I'd like to see it. It'd givem e a bit of a reason to get my figures down off the shelf from time to time.
