From the looks of it, character animation may have improved, but it improved itself right into looking like Amaenaineyo. If it's any indication of the final product, it looks like they've broken with Akamatsu's clean, and really high quality art and have instead both crushed Asuna's head and made Evangeline all but unrecognizable as her former self. Oh well, maybe there will be some nudity to spruce things up. At least it isn't as bad as the working over that Kujian got.
