If you're a Galaxy Angel fan, then I've got good news from animate.tv. I'm a Forte fan myself. She is the hot business. Anyway, during C3 x Hobby they announced that there would be a new addition to the Galaxy Angel anime series line. The title: Galaxy Angeluun. Wow. Not trying very hard there. We'll just call it Galaxy Angel II. And the character designs lack a lot of what I liked from the original show. The show is set to premier on TV Tokyo at 2AM on October 1st (thanks again to moetron for spotting this first. Haha. I am so lazy.)
The new character designs are being carried over to a PlayStation 2 video game as well. GameWatch has some good info on that, including the big unveiling ceremony that had for the whole thing. They also have some good character art. Be sure to scroll through the whole page. You can keep up with the whole she-bang over at the GAII news page.

You cant really call it Galaxy Angel II because there's already a II, a III and a IV. It's more like either galaxy angel 5 or its own little series (probably the latter since the characters are completely different)

Nah it IS GA 2. The rest were just GA, GA A GA Z and whatever.

Well, all their advertising stuff calls it GA2 as well. So if they are calling it GA2 then it's GA2. And yeah, it was GA, GA A, GA Z, and GA X.

oh really? I remember the GA Z but I didn't realize the others were X and A haha i just said "oh its a sequel, its II to me" lol I think the fansubbers/raw providers labeled it as such too :D

Hey, no worries. I didn't know until I actually looked into the series myself. I thought there were only two so far. >.> Apparently the first game is the best thing so far as well.

The "-luun" part probably came from the newest Angel-tai's name, the "Rune" Angels. That, and at contrast with the first Angel-tai.
Still need much, much more info to back this claim, though.

I've only seen… 13? 13 episodes of the first season of the first show, or however it works. I'm not sure. I liked it ok, but it's nothing ground breaking or whatever. It's one of those shows that you watch for the characters more than anything. But it delivers on the characters for sure.

I'm the GA man when it comes down to the GA things, and take my advice - GA2 looks like crap. I was so disappointed when I saw it last year. Only Apricot looks decent. And the mecha is disgusting. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MILFEULLELOVE????
