Whew! Long weekend. Well, ultra titties and shitcrackers, boys and girls. It's another Monday, my new video card is here, Media Center is fucking up, and there is news to be told! I will pipe it to you, my little fluffernutters, in condensed form for ready consumption. AND SO SHALL IT BE THAT YOU READ OF THIS NEWS AND LEARN WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD OF YOUR PAST TIMES! It'll be fun. I had Arby's for lunch. ROLLUP!
Anime/Manga/Figures
- First and foremost, there's an extended Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer online. That is some hot fucking shit right there. It looks like a combo of the first GC06 trailer and the E3 trailer from earlier this year, plus some extras(dialogue-wise). And made of sexy sex. The sound is fucking awesome. Make sure you turn it up. Kojima is a golden god. I'm just saying.
- Media embargoes on PS3 images were lifted, so Impress Game Watch has a bunch of shit up. It's not the most inspiring stuff in the world, but some of it looks pretty damn nice. Motorstorm is an expected disappointment. Fucking failures.
- Hey! Update for Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3, Famitsu and Game Informer have some stuff up. Spiffy high quality shots. Sexy.
- GAINAX has officially confirmed the Evangelion remakes, called Rebuild of Evangelion. I can hardly contain my apathy. (Sorry, I'll stop bombing on NGE.)
- Kateikyoshi Hitman REBORN, the upcoming TV anime, has had its website opened. The show airs beginning October 7th.
- Are you Singaporinese? Well, they're having some Anime exhibition thing… TJ Hanny the Dirty Tranny has a thingy about it up. Not that thingy… Jesus.
- There's a Windows Media trailer online for Soukou no Strain. It's one of them mecha space action shows I hear so much about. The site boasts one of the worst star fields I've ever seen. And I should know. I used to be a space artist. Here, have a direct link.
- That Kino no Tabi movie I mentioned was confirmed via the official website.
- Koisuru Tenshi Angelique is getting a second TV series. The new show will be entitled Koisuru Tenshi Angelique ~Kagayaki no Ashita~ (which I believe translates to "Tomorrow's Radiance" or something like that). It's set to start on Kids Station in January.
- Comic Bunch put up for the first character shots of Souten no Ken, announced that it will start on October 4th, and will star Yamadera Koichi.
- Also, REV's Diary did a little bit on the English Blog scene. They called Shingo's Heisei Democracy "a news aggregator or something." I giggled at the title, but was otherwise sad to not be important enough to show up. Haha.
Figures
- Sakura? But which one! OH YEAH! The one from Fate/hollow ataraxia! Vacation version! You know, the one with huge boobs in a bikini, looking like she needs me to help her tie that strap right there. That Sakura! Kotobukiya has her in December for 4,410 yen.
- Not enough? Ok, moving forward through Koto's December line up, Princess from FullAni. I like her, but not as much as I liked her in the game. I just live those character designs. 4,410 yen in December.
- New Line is putting out this slightly sexy, slightly disconcerting Asuka Langley (or is it just Langly?) figure in January for 15,540 yen. Don't fret. She's 1/5.5 (*sigh*) scale and… uh… sits about 200mm tall. I'd more be worried about the freaky little doll there. Don't need that.
- CLAMP fans will be happy to see a CLAMP inspired trading figure 1BOX called CLAMP in 3-D LAND. Movic is putting these bad boys out in November for 5,250 yen. Not bad for a 10 piece set.
- The highlight of this update would HAVE to be this wonderfully crafted Kusanagi Motoko by Vise. It was so damn good that Nuke actually sent me a tip about it back in August. But I let it slide until now because of liking to scoop things with product shots, and boy howdy are these nice. This beauty stands 220mm tall and will run you a scant 6,090 yen this December. You might not like the face, but hey, I do. So there.
- In the repaint-that-no-one-asked-for arena, we have the classic Two Girls Humping a Banana (Ripened ver.). Yeah, you know you like it, perv. Out in October for 7,800 yen from Solid Theater.
- And lastly, we have two figures from the game __summer by way of Solid Theater. First up is Shou Nami. She looks pretty typical, not much to say. Out in December for 5,250 yen.
- And the other one is Sen Rin. Don't bomb me if I got the names wrong. I'll hate you forever. Anyway, she's much the same way. A little more interesting, but sort of a dead expression. Also 5,250 yen this December.
Well! That's about that for the weekend. just a heads up, I turned off trackbacks because douchebags were starting to trackback spam, and I wasn't having it. Apparently, Akismet was useful for one thing, but then, it caught self-linkbacks as well, so maybe no. But yeah, if you guys have any problems with anything loading or whatever, shoot me an e-mail or leave a comment and I'll get it fixed up. Though, I am fairly certain everything is running properly now. Back to work with me! RAWR! Also, Rent-a-Cop by Ben Folds is a wonderful song. Just saying.
Edit:Ok, trackbacks are back on. I put in an antitrackerbackerspammer gizmo. So that ought to stop things. We'll see. If it doesn't work, I will off the trackbacks again. BWAHAHA! Pingbacks are the most useful, anyway, Don't require the use of a trackback URL, just a link and WordPress, then it'll ping me to let me know. That's the good stuff.
