Fucking finally, a trailer that isn't some flash piece of crap. That makes me happy. Oh well, while it's only a 20-second trailer, I'm still happy to see it. It doesn't look too bad. It's for the upcoming anime TV series Negima!? which is based off of the Negima manga but doesn't follow the story and deviates from it readily. I'll submit that the animation looks ok, but that the changes to the character designs are largely unacceptable. They just don't look right anymore and they seem to have lost some, if not all, of the flair that Akamatsu's style and writing provide them. Maybe I'm just a nitpicky bastard, but that's how it feels to me. The show is set to premiere on October 4th.

Ok. I think DailyMotion does a little bit higher quality encoding, so I want to see how people like it. And I can't stand the new Nodoka. :'( FIX IT OS!

While it's based off the manga, according to manganews.net and some japanese links, it's not based off THE manga, eg. Mahou Sensei Negima, and rather the upcoming Negima?! spinoff manga.. so technically it's not really a deviation.. not yet anyway.
