A pair of popular manga have had films announce for them. Maybe they've been announced for a while, but what do I know about that stuff? Anyway, the first is a pair of Eko Eko Azarak movies. The first is R-Page, due out on December 16th and it will be promptly followed on December 30th by B-page. I've YouTubed it after the break… not sure how long before YouTube goes "copyright protection" crazy. You can stream it from over here. Worse come to worst, I will use DailyMotion or my own streaming stuff in the future. Actually, YouTube is being slow. Haha. So it's DailyMotioned.
Second up is a sci-fi manga-based film called Freesia. I didn't watch the trailer, but the site looked fun. Not really. It looks sort of cheap and the guy on the main page looks like a cheap Alan Rickman. I'm bored now. Ok. Here is a link to the QuickTime version and to the WMV version. It's DMed after the break. The WMV wasn't working earlier. Not sure about now or later.

Is it my imagination, or recently there've been lots of manga based movies in Japan???

Now that you mention it, it certainly does seem like it. >.>
Of course, compared to regular films that are coming out, it's probably not that huge of a number. I just don't report those.
