Sg-TV has posted up, with a DRM and registration requirement, the first episode of GR -GIANT ROBO- such that you can enjoy it for free until January 31st. They have English sign-up instructions for those of you who can't speak moon, so you can sign up and get your sexy flax on. But hey, what about Mac users and stuff? You guys get boned. Sorry for the delay. Got busy with some other stuff. I've uploaded the file to one of them sexy file sharing sites since DailyMotion got all "20 minute maximum" on me. So I figured fuck it. And I uploaded the XviD/MP3 AVI over at FileFactory. If no one downloads it for seven days, it disappears, so feel free to spread it around to keep it live. It's about 27MB and is still roughly the quality of the streaming WMV (which was 170MB. Fuckers.)
Well, I skipped a day and then there were some things, and it just sort of snow balled out of control. I have 28 items… some from AmiAmi, some from HobbyStock. It fell like an avalanche. But still, we're going dig ourselves out of it, even if I don't get to all of it tonight. And, just as a reminder, got some free anime coming up in a little while. It's taking forever to encode. super rats applied for Brother of the Year status by outing his sister's figure obsession to the world at large. Luckily, he made sure not to our her yuri tendencies by using her MaxFactory Van figure for the shoot.
Well, I am working on rolling up all those fucking figures that got piled on last week. It'll be a bit before I get them done. You can wait. For the time being, however, I am going to be rolling up the meager amount of anime news. I can't stop yawning and I've had the shits all morning. It's awesome. I did get a pair of figures today. Anime/Manga/Games
It looks like Universal as licensed Dororo for American release, making this new theatrical trailer all the more bitter tasting. The film is due out in theaters on the 27th.
Ghibli is going to put out Western animation under the new label Ghibli Museum Library. Nothing really exciting there. I am trying to stretch all of this crap into a real roll up.
Production I.G is talking with "Hollywood" (presumably the city as a collective) about producing a live-action Ghost in the Shell movie. I can't help but feel that it's going to lose a whole lot in the process… see Aeon Flux, et al. for examples.

Loyal readers, wanting not to create features that I let stagnate, I have added two more areas to ikiKOYOMI. First up, we have figures. Figures could do with a bit of explaining. They are all considered fuzzy dates, and so they will appear at the end of months in the Year View, and since most figures show up towards the end of their announced month, I have set them all to show up in the RSS feed on the 15th of the month in which they are released.
Hentai, or rather Adult content in general, will not show up in the initial views by themselves, and will not shot up in the keys. To view the Adult release dates, you will need to select it from the dropdown. Currently, there's only one title there as a placeholder, but I will add more as I get time to add them (I have to translate them, which makes it take longer.).
Anyway, let me know what you think of this additions, and I'll give you guys another link over to the calendar when I get everything all caught up. We'll call this my ikimashou One Year present. Haha. Enjoy! In the future, I might add a feature to let you turn on Adult product in default view.
According to Kodansha's website, the Tsuyoshi Yasuda's… bicycle racing manga OverDrive is set to be adapted into an anime. I mean, really… is there anything, any GENRE that manga hasn't covered? Can someone please just tell me. Seriously. Wow. Bicycle racing manga. What's left? Anyway, no real news came out with this announcement, more is the info comes in.
Oh, and the Dancouga Nova website is opened. It's out on February 15th. I'll be posting up that figure rollup later this weekend most likely. Whew. Long week, guys. TELL ME YOU LOVE ME! First up is a nice, long haremy trailer for the upcoming To Heart 2 OVA. It'll be out in Japan on February 28th. Next up is a trailer for Moonlight Mile. I didn't watch it and I still have no idea what Moonlight Mile is about. I will assume it's about Moons… and maybe walking or something. I don't know. Either way, it's YouTubed post-jumpicus and you can stream the high res version from this direction. The show starts on March 3rd.
Lastly, and most importantly, a new trailer for the upcoming Ichigo Mashimaro OVA. YAY!@!! Haven't we all been waiting entirely too long to get our hands on the continuation of this masterpiece. Hey guys. I'm not dead. I've had a lot of shit to do the past couple days. So, I only really have time to post this before I have to go to bed. It sucks. Seriously. Anyway, since I only have time for this one, I will bring the funk, I've get a pair of trailers for you. Well, if you're into that sort of Hokuto no Ken stuff. There's a trailer for both Yuria Densetsu and Raoh Gaiden up on the Hokuto no Ken website. I didn't watch them, but I can only imagine that they're totally awesome and manly. Yep. Tsunashima Shirou has announced that he is going to be stopping work on Jinki: Extend. The reason he gives in his ample letter, is that his editor is a huge asshole and won't fucking let him write his own story. He says that he's put together 60 pages to wrap the story up as best he can considering where the story stands at this point. He has left open the possibility of returning in the future, obviously after being provided some new editor people.
Sec only, Japan is getting it's first (I think) FREE (as in awesome) manga magazine. It's going to be called Comic Ganbo and it is set to hit store shelves on January 16th. It'll be a weekly, coming out on Tuesday or Wednesday and the first printing is expected to run 100,00 copies. Grab me one of you see it. I'll pay for shipping, damn it.
Well! I came home today and checked all my feeds and BAM! New Alter figures for May dropped today. I plan to work my way down the line from ones I'm not getting to ones I am most likely getting, unless Max outdoes them. Which they might. Mikuru might be in May. We'll see in a few weeks. Anyway, first off, from School Rumble Nigakki, is Suou Mikoto. While I am not to keen on her face, I am really keen on the body sculpt. The stomach… and boobs… look very nice and very soft and proper. Daddy like. She'll cost you 4,800 yen and she stands 160mm tall. PROPER!
Know what always needs more figures? Eroge. And this time it's Beat Angel Escalayer. Who from that show? Well, Escalayer of course. Let me just say out right… her clothes look amazing. Wow. A different head would have sucked me in without question, but pink and yellow just doesn't do it for me in the hair department. Wow though. Amazing cloth work. She's 1/8 scale and she stands 200mm tall. Want her? Love AliceSoft? She'll run you 5,800 yen. BAM!
Now this is the first one I plan to maybe get. It's a mizugi sporting Kazuki-chan from Tonaguri. Why am I considering this one? Well, it just captures Kazuki's essence almost completely. The proportions are right, the look is right, the FEEL is right and all-in-all it's a really solid sculpt. I am going to go ahead and vote yes on this… and then pounce her like Yuuji does. Rawr! She's 1/8 scale, 190mm, and she can take 4,200 yen from me anyday.
Lastly, and most sexily, is Kaze no Ayumu Mono. Alter's rev isn't quite as sexually exciting as GSC's version, but by god, I love this little demon. Alter's Kaze is wearing her normal outfit and looks to be jumping off with a very dynamic pose. That was a shite sentence. My particular draw to this figure is the amazing detail around the whole thing. Minor details on the hands and hat really add a nice touch to the figure in general. My only worry comes from the single legged nature of the thing. I always worry with this figures, though Alter tends to use a higher concentration polyvinyl. We'll see this May. She's 1/8 scale, 145mm tall, and 4,800 yen.
