You've been waiting, I've been waiting, we all have. We've been waiting to see some of the luscious beauty of Nantsuiro*Drops hit our screens and finally we have a taste in the form of a streaming trailer. I watched this one, of course, and I must say that the song really didn't grab me. It was sort of bad, even. The animation looked like it will likely be ok, but it's a tiny streaming WMV, so it's hard to say. I also think the people who picked action shots for the trailer did a pretty shitty job putting it all together, as it felt very disjointed and didn't really convey a sense of the shows energy… that or the show has a really odd, off pace energy. More likely that it's a shit trailer though.

Ok, first things first, if you don't LOVE Lucy, get out. You're excused pending executive action. Moving along from that, now that I have gotten rid of all but the best people in the audience, I'd like to show you WAVE's rendition of Lucy Maria Misora. Let's have a look at her. She's standing a full 220mm tall, which puts her in the realm of 1/8 scale by the looks of it. Though, many time's there's not a lot of discrepancy between 1/8 and 1/7. Her hair is a brighter pink than I would like, especially considering her red meido get up. Still, her coy look, interesting pose, and quality "stems" (that's 1950s for legs.) put together a pretty decent looking figure for Lucy or ToHeart2 fans. The price isn't so bad either. She'll run you a fair 5,145 yen this July.

I know that there are at least a few people out there who are as generally exhaust of BOME's work as I am, but as jaded as I tend to be about his stuff, I have to sit up and take a look at The 21st entry in his collection: Honey Bunny Karen & Rio. A sexy pair of bunny girls who drop the typical figure poses and stretch their legs out a bit. That is to say, they're sitting down. The bunny outfits also ditch the normal Bathing-Suit-With-Leggings approach and go for the much sexier (in my opinion) bikini-bottom/halter-top/thigh-high trio. The sculpting is good quality, but not out of line with something you'd expect from a BOME release, meaning it could be better. But hey, who am I to complain? It's good enough, damnit. They pair of them would go nicely on your desk this May for 7,140 yen.

Remember when Hellsing OVA III got pushed back? Me too! Didn't we all cry a little? No? Yea, me either. There's a formal jiggy telling all the cools kids that Zombie-Loan is getting an anime floating around. Word on the street is that it's going to be a TV anime. But hey, isn't just about everything these days?
A show called Mononoke is in the works, which is, I am told, a spin-off of the Bakeneko arc of the Ayakashi TV series. It's going to hit in July
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, the second season of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, was officially announced as well. It's going to hit in July. Yessir. Hurrah for Higurashi!
This was my first order from e2046 through their Gathering series pre-painted recast of BUBBA's now world famous Haruhi resin kit. Let me quickly say, I am totally smitten with it and it exceeded my expectations. Want to hear the best part? Well, they were giving away a free black version to one lucky buyer… and GUESS WHAT!! THAT LUCKY BUYER WAS ME! Absolutely fucking wonderful! I have seriously never won anything before (in a literal sense as regards luck based contests) and wow. Anyway, it's a beautiful thing.
