Have I mentioned lately that I am a manga and light novel whore? I am lucky the selection in the states is such shit or I would be even poorer than I am. Still, let's move along. Rental Magica is getting turned into an anime with production coming by way of ZEXCS. No other info currently. I feel like the character designs will lose something in the transition though. Site is "up" but not populated yet. As in, we know where it will be, but not when. Fourth dimensional stuff. Well, a causal fourth dimension and not so much a physical one. Since we all know a fourth dimensional space would be as a further folded three… nevermind.
Another yonkoma, Sketchbook by Kobako Totan, is getting animed. Hal Film Maker will be working on the adaptation and the title has been extended out to Sketchbook: full color's. Being as it's based on a yonkoma, it could go either way really. That's how these things go. The site will be here whenever they get around to it.
Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun, Suzuki Daisuke's award winning light novel series with the boobies is getting an anime. What kind and when and by whom are all things left to be known. Is anyone else a big whore about this stuff? I'm seriously starting to get a bit jaded on anime adaptations. Or maybe I'm bitter because a manga or eroge is so rarely enough to spur people into making figures of things I like.
Also, anyone who ordered Haruhi, HLJ got their stock (it's been internally updated to June Restock) and have allotted them out If you don't see an order for you in the next while here, you're probably fucked for the month. That is to say, my Masane (also out today from Alter) hasn't been added to an active order yet, but should be before the day is out, I figure it's the same for the thirty Haruhi figures HLJ got. Local shops in places without a huge ton of figure fags are most certainly a better option. Well, in the US we tend to pay a premium on the price since very few companies will sell to the US at wholesale. Sucks the big one.

im sad out of luck on the Haruhi…says June restock for me. does anyone know if would have been beneficial to hit "ship order" or let HLJ do their thing based on your order number?

The guy I talked to in February said it was by order number (first come, first serve.). My Masane still isn't part of an order, so I am not sure what to think exactly. My assumption would be that their stock system auto allots added items but they finalize orders manually so it hasn't gone through yet. HARD TO SAY WITHOUT KNOWING THEIR SYSTEM. >.>
Ah well. I WILL CROSS MY FINGERS UNTIL MASANE HITS MY ORDER SCREEN! :D

Also, it looks like they closed up shop for the weekend already. Does anyone have confirmation of any orders going out today? I preordered my Masane on day one, so I fucking KNOW I am high up in that line. I am led to conclude that no ones stuff went out today, or I am pissed. So until I get confirmation otherwise, I am not going to assume the worst. BUT I WILL ON MONDAY! :D

My understanding of HLJ's screwy system is that if all items on an ORDER are in stock, it will ship. In my case, Haruhi is on a single order, so if it were in stock, it would show up on my account status as in stock. Then I'd have to request shipping and all that good stuff. What HLJ has told me when I've e-mailed them, is that when they see an order has everything in stock, they check to see if anything else on OTHER orders are there too so they can ship it all together. In your case Randall, once either Masane or Haruhi gets ready to ship, they'll check your other orders so see if they have enough in stock for you. If so, they'll toss both pieces into a bigger box. If nothing else you have ordered is in stock, the single-item order ships by itself.
What I don't really understand is what about stuff that gets released around the same time, which is what you're going through with two pre-orders. I would assume they have a timetable for when stuff will arrive at their place, so perhaps they're just waiting for all their shipments from the major companies before shipments go out–in order to cut back on shipping. I didn't get around to pre-ordering Haruhi until mid January (T_T), so I'm sorta expecting June….

NOOO! Why don't we get a week off for anything in America? The best we can hope for is like… Christmas Eve on a Monday, then SOME places will give you Monday and Tuesday off. I know some places are better about this, but I don't work at any of them.

HLJ just seems to have delayed reactions, I checked on friday and it still had the 'June re-stock' even though I have nothing on order for this month.
