Now, up to this point, Yamashita Shunya based figures have been dead sexy every single time. Enter… the new chick. We'll be calling her Hanaya Suekko Shouko-san. That would likely end up in English as Florist's Youngest Daughter: Shouko-san. I am just not excited by this figure. The colors seems to clash a LOT, and maybe that's just me, but it's distracting. The light pink on red is just not a good pick. The eyes aren't helping either, but keeping an awkward distance from complimentary. Given, I like the boobs and the pose is fine, but hey, that's just the way it is. But hey! Who am I to talk. I can't draw or sculpt a damn thing. I can't even form a straight line. Judge for yourselves already! Jeez! Oh yeah, Kotobukiya will be putting this one out. It will be limited to their stores only for the first run (due in September-ish) but will likely see wide release later, as has been a common theme, if I do recall correctly.

Hmm, I dunno, to me the colours don't clash. They're mostly analogous colours (colours that naturally harmonise because they're close together on the colour wheel), such as magenta, violet and purple; her hair appears to have a blue-ish tint as well. At least the cussion is more red-magenta than pure red.
The eyes are perhaps a misfire, although the green offers a contrast which wouldn't have existed had they been blue or something (I actually thought they were blue at first…)
My designerly 2c anyway~

Well, my major problems were basically just the cushion and the eyes. I mean, they just don't really fit in to me. The eyes might not even pop so much if the pillow thing had been a different color. I wonder what color it could be. >.>
