Well, are we looking into future? INTO THE NET FUTURE?! I am sort of out of it today. Yeah, sorry. So, somehow the July pair from Kaiyodo both bores me to death and rocks my nickel plated socks off. Who nickel plates socks anymore? I don't know. First up from Kaiyodo, the painfully boring Saber from the BOME collection. She marks number 23 in the on going series. I mean, not only is the pose plain and uninspired, the face looks of shit. I mean really. I feel like this same figure has been done to death a hundred times before, and done better. She'll run you an ridiculously high 4,725 yen. Suck should cost less than this.
Next, on the categorically awesome side of things, is this mysterious el. figure. I can't seem to find out much about her outside of the preorder page and the WF coverage from before. It seems she's from a world where bugs have invaded and caused lots of problems, as such, she need her goggles and bug spray kit to help keep safe. The carve on this on is well done, unique, and carries with it a certain flavor that you don't often see in the PVC world. The coloring is awesome and well thought out and just generally wow. She's 210mm tall and she will be out in July for a scant 3,990 yen. I might be putting her on as an add on for July.

*yawn* not more Saber…even if I was still in my "must buy Fate figures for some reason" phase I wouldn't want that dull figure.
I wouldn't want el for myself, but I like the originality and attention to detail.

Bome just keeps getting shittier with every release, I mean, at least the ones before vol15 were nice enough to look at but these, just plain garbled bullshit where even the paint is dull to look at, along with the display base.
The latter though, interesting and also pretty captivating. Pieces like this are pretty much rarity. Not bad by any means, goes to "interesting (might buy)" list.

Haha, I guess people didn't attach to el. as strongly as I did. I think she looks awesome, really. I just hope it doesn't come in that trademark CHEAP PVC that Kaiyodo loves to make their figures out of.

Aghaghagha. Bome needs to stick to bunny girls, whom he clearly has more luck with. She really is painfully boring. And her head is too small D:. She's like, 8-9 heads tall.
I think I might have to get El just for the uniqueness. She has a steampunk/Murata Range vibe that's really interesting, and you don't see figures like this a lot. And 3800 is a steal. I hope the final production figure looks as good.

Randall: Even if I was incredibly rich and obsessed with collecting Fate figures, I still wouldn't buy that Saber. If Bome's going to do such a lacklustre figure, at least make it of a character that hasn't been done better so many times before.

I have a few guesses for the stick.
1. Electronically powered vibrating dildo, I mean look at the damn shape. Either that or a light saber. The case would be a portable electricity generator.
2. A fumigation kit. A bit small though.
3. Metal detector with a box that records responses.
4. Look at the goggles she's wearing! It's a plane refuel kit. Doesn't seem like a lot of fuel though.
5. A flame stick that works like a flamethrower.
6. The power plug to ikimashou.net's servers.

I like el. for the same reason i bought "Art of shunya Yamashita" series figurines and Ebcraft hyperfate saber. I prefer unique and life-like figurines more than anime ones. I hope the sculptor for el. would come out with more figurines of this kinds. Absolutely awesome.

I preordered the El figure, and never was too fan of the numerous Saber on the market…kinda getting sick of that character for some reasons…
