The latest volume release (or maybe I am mixing that up with something else) of Doujin Work in Japan has made mention of a segment to take place towards the end of each episode where the seiyuu will attempt to make their own doujin, and if all goes according to the storyline, they will eventually be accepted into the doujin culture and all that. DOES THAT SOUND INTERESTING? Yeah, I didn't think so either. Maybe marginally. I blame the blacks. They seem to be the reason I am not excited about this. No, it doesn't make sense. The show starts in July.

Another too short weekend, another crappy work week. I am just dying waiting on a certain phone call. Damn it all. Meh, I've got some work to do, so let's get this thing banged out.

Anime/Manga/Games

Figures

  • Not a whole lot on the figure side.
  • For those of you who are scared of those big ol' Haruhi figures, Toys Works will be bringing you folks a 10 piece 1BOX for happy love. Out this September for 7,350 yen.
  • And you guys who like your Haruhi large and in charge, Toys Works is also bringing the PVC version of the Haruhi gakuran ver. figure seen around recently. She'll be 5,800 yen this September.
  • Don't want Toys Works Haruhi in your junk? Well, maybe their Athena Glory from Aria will rub you the right way. She's a full 285mm tall without the oar, and she'll hit your wallet for massive (7,329 yen) damage this September.
  • Lastly, we've got some delicious Amy action from Yamato. I'm with Shingo in saying I'd normally ignore this one, but this link begs for consideration (PROTIP: Scroll down.). She will be out in August for 7,140 yen. Ahem.

Well! Finished her on up in record time. Let's get a move on so I don't get fired. Haha. Ok, ok, maybe I WANT to get fired a little. But I need money. I NEED IT!!! I just want to live a relaxed life damnit! This say is going so slooow!

Alrighty, I am busy, so I am saving some stuff for the rollup. But let's get down to the few thing that are going into this post First up, Konami's Yoko has officially started to hit preorder joints. Be sure to get in early where ever you're ordering from. She is still at the same price, 5,775 yen, in September. YOU BUY NOW!

Secondly, for anyone wanting easier access to the hosting information, I put it up on its own page with links to all my hostees. Be sure to check them out and add them to you blogrolls if you like the cut of their jibs. That's an order. Please to enjoy, and have a good weekend.

Oh yeah, the post image comes from this guy. He wins. NSFW.

Wow, of all the things. It looks like my close personal friend (whose girlfriends I have had sex with, scouts honor) Akamatsu Ken posted up a blog entry mentioning that his better-than-Love-Hina manga Mahou Sensei Negima (Harry Potter for lolicons) will be getting a live action TV series. How exactly you make an eleven year old REAL HUMAN not annoying is beyond me. Maybe they will just find a short chick and cut her hair. I don't know. I smell disaster. My morbid curiosity will clock me in for at least one episode. The show is set to begin sometime next year.

Haha, do you see what I did there? I went with the good old American adage of "if enough people complain, free speech shouldn't matter!" and I'm officially suspending myself for a week for typing rape. And by suspending I mean not suspending and by rape I mean she was asking for it. Know your place, ladies. Anyway, back to the rape at hand, this time the rape is coming in the form of Daiki Kougyou's 1/4 scale Mina PVC. Mina, as we all know, is from Samurai Spirits, or if you're American "Duh Deh Retard Fart Party 3: The Americanizing." She stands around 510mm tall, if the documentation is to be believed and looks a bit like she has some uneven tanning. Still, things of this size always look different. But Randall, you mentioned rape. AH YES! How much would you expect to pay for a 1/4 scale PVC (yes, not resin) figure? Something like 9,000 to 14,000 yen maybe? Right, guess again. She's going to run you 23,100 yen. On the plus side, my expert eyes spy removable clothing, so titties come with the deal. Not enough to provoke me, though.

Only one picture after the jump. Enjoy it, since you likely can't afford this poor lady and her SCULPTED MUSCLES! I can. Just saying. I hope this post made some of you uncomfortable.

Well, GoodSmile and MaxFac came out with their September lines today, and OF COURSE, ikimashou is here with the SKIZZNOOP. First up, let's touch on GSC's Suzumiya Haruka from KimiNozo. She's sporting what is supposed to be a wet bikini, I guess, but really it's sort of a boring figure and I don't have a whole hell of a lot to say about it. Moving along! She is 1/8 scale, kneels 125mm tall, and will be out in September for 4,800 yen.

Next, another boring figure from GSC. I'm not trying to hate here, but this 1/5 scale Iroha figure is just typical and has been done before. Still, she is a solid GSC sculpt and her curves look better than a lot of the Iroha's I've seen. I'd say that if you don't have an Iroha and were considering her, pick up this one. She's 300mm tall and will be out in month nine for 7,800 yen.

And in case you wanted to weep, GSC also put together a beautiful (love those lips) Kusanagi Motoko from Ghost in the Shell EXCLUSIVELY for Amazon.jp. Why is that weep-worthy? Well, Amazon.jp only ships movies, CDs, and books out of Japan. So your only hope is auctions or purchase services. Yay price hike! She's 1/8 scale, hits 200mm tall, and will run you 5,460 yen if you can get a hold of her for retail. She's not up on Amazon yet, but I still prefer the Vice version… call me crazy.

And lastly, I know you guys have seen it, but MaxFac's GODDAMNIT MY EYES BURN IT'S SO PRETTY Kureha is up for preorder as well. The specs they're sticking next to her put her at 250mm tall and 1/7 scale. I mean, it's pointless, everyone is already buying this one. This posting is a mere formality. She will run a pocket busting 7,200 yen this September.

Shots of each lady after the jump, in the order they appear here. Please to enjoy.

Well, regardless of your opinion of GAINAX or the staff on Gurren Lagann, you have to admit that Yoko is hot shit and she isn't in episodes nearly enough. As such, any figure of her will surely make for some erection material for at least a select few, and with that in mind Konami has announced that they will be doing up Yoko in PVC this September. Her charm point is the removable rifle… and her… you know… auxiliary guns. Seriously, thigh-highs are hot. My only real complaint about those overall solid carve would have to be the very dramatic curve from chest to waist to hips. It could have been a little bit.. you know… less so. Maybe extend her high another couple millimeters. Anyway, she stands 200mm tall and is 1/8 scale. She will hit on September 27th for 5,775 yen, so it seems.

Hit the jump for a single shot of her curvy glory.

Edit: Looks like my site's server is under some serious load at the minute. I'm told it will be fixed shortly. Sorry for the long load times. This may affect a few of the subdomain users as well. Just saying.

Update: Looks like the issues are resolved now. Man, that's tough shit there. Seems my server is over crowded. I'm looking for some other places to see what I can find. Sad part is, everyone seems to suck.

To celebrate the old break from GSC, (not really) Alter has announced their September October one-two punch. First of the pair is Kaminagi Ryouko of Zegapain fame. She's standing there in her little school girl outfit, showing you everything that the Japanese have done for the world. Ok, really, I am just playing her up because I fail to understand how companies make their figure production decisions. It's like I need to start my own company to get the shit I want made put to PVC. She hits in September for 5,040 yen.

Second, and one that actually makes me happy, is Aegis (Aigis, whichever it is) from Persona 3. I know there was a previous version, but I always like to see Alter attach their particular quality to a character. She's sporting a nice, dynamic pose and the sculpt really goes a long way to showing off her SEXY ROBOT BODY. Hopefully the base stays the same as the pictures. I am sick of these low quality bases. 6,090 yen in October… which Han calls expensive. GET A JOB, YOU LAZY WHINER!

A shit cluster of pictures after the jump. You better believe that shit.

Hey boys and girls. I know you missed me yesterday. Hopefully I can catch up all them crazy figure newses today. First up, however, is the news that Treasure Gaust is getting an anime. Because we need more anime of monster fishing magnet games. Still, I am dead tired, so I don't have the energy to keep going on about this thing. It's out on June 11th. That's about it.

Whew. Short weekend. And busy. Sorry to anyone who mailed. I got back to the lot of you now, so shut up. I'll cut your faces. Tell me I won't. Yeah, that's what I thought. Anyway, let's get on with this thing. Still planning to get a Hosting Page put up. I'll do that later. Not a whole ton of news today. Some good figures though!

Anime/Manga/Games

  • I was pointed at Patrick Alexander's rant about MegaTokyo by wildarmsheero. I found it to be terribly lulz and accurate. You should read it and join me in my MegaTokyo hate. Also, check out Patrick's comics. They are fuck funny, regardless of what you might think.
  • Patrick Macias, whom I personally have no opinion of, lots of people like him I guess, is starting up a new magazine called Otaku USA. There's an interview somewhere in this podcast about it. Our good friend wildarmsheero (TWICE IN A ROLLUP?!) Will be doing a bimonthly comic for it. That'll be the only reason I pick it up, most likely.
  • All of a sudden some chink is telling me I have to be politically correct. I'm not entirely sure what he's talking about when he says anibloggers need to be socially responsible. Maybe he means we shouldn't play crude flash games about the V-Tech shootings. Or link to them. Maybe that Singaporean hippy brainwashing is setting in. Maybe I am going to get in trouble for saying chink. Goodness knows words can kill. I do find irony in the fact that Han talks about being PC in a post with this line:

"I'm a lolicon who loves tentacles up the papaya of a 5 year old girl."

That quote is entirely in context.

  • Choo-tan looks to be passing out money. Just a notice for all you anibloggers out there. Share the fucking wealth, Choobers.
  • Oh, some actual news. Looks like Piano no Mori is going to hit theaters on July 21.
  • Also, Code Geass's final episodes will be showing at several special events in July. Someone take your HD camera and GO, GO, GO!
  • AV Watch gives us the funky news that Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be getting an extended BluRay release, meaning there's more movie I guess. And lots of EXTRAS probably. No price or release date has been announced yet.
  • Oh, lastly, I did a little post up on my new personal blog. I'll try to remember to update it regularly… will it happen? Maybe? I might stick my figure reviews over there.

Figures

  • Ultra Shingo of the Nebulon HD Intarnets Galaxy has pointed out a sexy Felicia PVC that Organic is going to be putting out. The hot sex figure will be hitting in July with a limited batch of just 2,000. I am skeptical that HLJ will be getting any stock. Check out HD for pictures, and the sculptor's site for more pictures and some of his other amazing works.
  • super rats-tan's Tousaka is bending again. He just didn't want her upright bad enough, I guess.
  • Looks like Ikkitousen have something naked to get excited about. Griffon Enterprises will be putting out a 1/7 scale resin cold cast of a sexy, bent over Kan-U. Is she cheap? Fuck no. She will run you 13,860 yen this July. Uncensored shots at this link.
  • Or, if that is too raunchy for you, you can always turn your attention to Good Smile's Alicia Florence PVC. She comes with that freaky cat-pig thing and looks to be a pretty solid carve. She can be had for 5,800 yen this September.
  • Also coming from GSC is the decidedly eroero Shingyoji Mao from Sofmap's Boy Meets Girl. She is just delicious looking. She stands 210mm tall making her a 1/7 scale figure. She will be out in August for 5,800 yen. Want uncensored shots? Hit the GSC official page.
  • Didn't we see these two bitches already? I could swear we did.
  • Pachira from MaxFac is getting a second run. This should give hope to Mikuru hold outs. She might get her second run after she is released.
  • A non-shit figure from Yamato? The presses! Stop them! As it is, Non-Non was looking damn good to begin with but it looks like Yamato will go a long way to doing her proud with their Creator's Labo #012 version of her. I am digging the light pink. She is out in August for 7,140 yen and apparently she's 1/6 scale. e2046's was only marked as 1/8. Hmm.
  • Yamato is trying to come strong again, but sort of failing, with their nonoko~moon~ figure as part of the [whipXnonoko] line. Mind you, nonoko~moon~ is hot in concept. The outfit is good and the general body shape is nice, but the wide head and iffy coloring aren't winning her any contests. Make the call for yourself for 7,140 yen this August. Yeesh. Supposedly a 1/6 scale lady.
  • IRIYA PLUSHIE! JUNE FOR 3,500 YEN! DO IT!

Annnd we're done. I am going to be either VERY busy this week… or not. Not sure. It depends on some things I can't talk about yet. Well, I'm not sure if I can. But I'm not going to, just in case. It's not about the site, so don't worry. Haha, anything about the site would go up regardless of most anything. Anyway, I will talk at you fellows later. Be sure to insult Hanny pants.
