Wow. The last person I really expected to do an all-at-once five figure blowout is Griffon Enterprises. But I suppose that's good on them! Let's get this fucker rolling. Ridiculous numbers here. First up is a pair of ladies from Mai-Otome. Leading the pack is the busty-o-licious Akane Soir ~master robe ver.~. I'm just saying what I was told. No idea what that means. You can couple her tiny clothing with Arika Yumemira's ~damage ver.~. Basically, it boils down to the bulk of her clothes being blown off. Both of the figures look ok. Not super great, but I wouldn't kick them out of bed for summon a mythic beast from the great beyond. Both are out in August for 6,825 yen and 7,140 yen respectively. Both are also 1/7 scale and 255mm and 265mm to the top, including stands, respectively.
But we're not done yet! NO SIR! You think Alter and Max are the only folks who can throw eroge ladies into bikinis? No sir. Griffon has this 1/7 scale, 160mm tall Sakura from Fate/hollow ataraxia in a bikini. All I can really think is that is… has a lot of pink. Maybe too much for my tastes. She's out in August as well for 5,880 yen.
Seriously diversifying the field here, Griffon's next entry is Minatsuki Saya from Black Cat. She's sporting a lovely floral yukata and OH MY GOD, SHE'S GOT A GUN! EVERYBODY DOWN! Ha… ha… ha… I'd say this figure is the worst of the bunch(still, not horrible), really. Which is a shame because I so love ladies with guns and yukatas. Somehow, she is also 1/7 scale, but is a full 60mm taller than Sakura, clocking in at 220mm. Someone is lying. She's Augusting your balls for 6,825 yen.
True to form, I have saved the very best for last. I have… but one word. Chouun. Yes. Chouun Shiryu, our amazing Ikkitousen goddess. If anyone was ever able to use an unpainted base model to make me consider spending a RIDICULOUS 9,975 yen on a 1/7 PVC (That's right. Not resin.), this would have to be the one. The damaged clothes/exposed breast figure has a damn good looking sculpt and, squatting as she is, she stands 150mm. I'll be classing her mildly NSFW since it's all grey and low detail. Out in August… we already mentioned the painful price.
Hit the jump for pictures of everyone… in the order mentioned above. You shall not want for pictures this day, my friends.

now that Akane is pretty enticing and with Chouun is another one great release, well I'm going just for Akane because Chouun is painfully pricey as you said already. Very painful. Veeery. Sigh. Still I'm going to fall for her when the colored shot hits up somewhere, I know, I'm too weak-willed for NSFW :f

Waiting on colored shots is the only thing holding me back right now. Seriously, I am partly hoping it turns out worse than it looks… for sake of my wallet. I KNOW I SHOULDN'T BUY IT, BUT I PROBABLY WILL! :'(
Lemme borrow some money, Chronos.

XO Why did they have to make Saya's whole head look so ugly!
June 30th, 2007 at 12:53 pm
akane looks good, finally a good mai otome figure in full meister robe. Chouun Shiryu looks good too, but 9k yen wow.
June 30th, 2007 at 1:39 pm
Chouun Shiryu is a nice addition to my collection but the 9000 yen price tag will make me think twice. Need to plan out my finance before deciding to buy or not.
June 30th, 2007 at 2:38 pm
AH! It's meister robe. Haha, I was thinking master robe didn't really sound all that epic for Mai Otome.
AND SWEET JESUS, Why is Chouun so expensive? It's almost unfair, isn't it? :'(

Did anyone else notice Sakura stepped on a turd? She's a tough girl putting on a brave face after that. Cmon people, you gotta baggie up your dog's business EVEN at the beach.
Yakata girl is HAWT…cept her hair.
Chouun sculpt is powerful. Too bad Ikkitousen gets ZERO respect from me.

I preordered the Chouun statue at toyslogic it's going to be a painted version. They don't have pictures yet they will update when the pics roll in. $101 for the preorder total for me. Damn.

From what Bryan has said, I checked out the site he's talking about. Here is a link, please check for the Chouun Statue. I think I'll preorder it too since they said it's going to be fully colored for October and here in this site the garage kit version is in August. I don't know someone speak to me. Link is here.

Well, for you guys who care, I get all my stuff through 1999.co.jp or HLJ.com. They're really the best two around, I'd say. QUALITY PEOPLE!
And 1999.co.jp has the figure for the equivalent of $73USD

Cool I'll probably get it here then. It will colored right?
July 4th, 2007 at 12:04 pm
Yeah, any time it says "completed" they mean it's all put together and painted.

Hey it looks good now, two heads and two uniforms. So what is the final judgment on this statue of Chouun Shiryu from Griffon Enterprises.
