Well, we've all seen the sculpt for Max's Sakaki Mizuki, so we all know that it's top quality, most likely outdoing the source material (which you can check after the jump), so I will skip the sculpt details. She's 1/8 scale and 200mm tall, and OMG WTF she's reasonably priced. That's right, Max has pulled back the insane 1/8 scale pricing a bit and Sasaki will hit the stores for 5,800 yen in November.

First up, from Little Witch Parfait 2 -Heartful Memories-, comes Parfait. SHOCK! She looks ok for a Kaiyodo piece, but just… not enough there to get me excited about her existence. I'm sure fans of Little Witch Parfait are stoked, though. Due in September for 4,725 yen. But she's only 140mm tall.
Next up, BOME is back for his 25th time in the saddle… experience doesn't seem to have sharpened his skills at all. This time he is seen boring us all to death by ruining a perfectly good Misato Mutsumi character design. Oh man, it makes me weep. If you don't know who Mutsumi is, she designs stuff for Leaf. Did ComiPa and ToHeart2. Still, BOME gets and A for Effort for attempting a dynamic pose and scene… yeah. That's all I can say about this figure that isn't negative. She's 185mm tall and will be out in September for 4,725 yen.
Masashiya is playing that same old song again, with another 1/5 scale Hoshino Ruri figure. This one's being called Special 5, and man… just… yeah. It could look a lot worse, I guess. Especially when you set it beside some of the older ones. A semi-win for Ruri fans! She's out in October for 20,790 yen.

I don't remember if I said it out loud, but I was just recently looking at all the trading figure kits and thinking about how they sucked. I wished, in my heart at least, that Max Factory would clear up this trading figure acne and let the beautiful skin shine through. I'm not going to buy them, mind you, but I still like the beautiful skin. And beautiful skin is apt, because Max Factory is doing an 8 piece 1BOX called Onegai*Onsen. Yes, that means what you think it means. The ladies from Onegai Twins/Sensei are sporting… well… not a whole lot. You know, underpants and stuff. Ahh, I'll just skip the explanations and post them up after the jump. They're out in December for 6,401 yen. It's mildly NSFW, in case you only read this sentence.
Which is why it makes perfect sense that I'll be posting this Iori from iDOL… I'm so sick of typing that. She's 1/8 scale and goes along with the rest of the ladies from the show. She seems to clash pretty hard though, with the previous two bearing light pink and Iori sporting a serious deep color blast. Maybe future ladies will even it out. She's pretty boring, but she will be out in November for 4,800 yen. Nice to see some sanity back in those 1/8 scales.

It's a sex-ed manga, apparently, and the one person I know who has read it assures me that it's hilarious. I'll take her word for it.

Anywho, it was announced yesterday that the Haruhi PS2 game would come with a previously mentioned Haruhi Figma posable figure. Really, I have to say that even though I am still skeptical of the whole posable thing, the Figma line is wearing away at my angst. The special edition box will run you 10,290 yen for the game and the figure. Not a terrible price considering. The game itself will run you 7,140 yen. Look for both of them on shelves January 31st of next year.
That's right kiddies. It's from for a full three minute and forty-three second trailer of the upcoming Appleseed sequel, Appleseed Saga: Ex Machina. Yes, once again, ikimashou is willing to venture onto the toes of the stuffy Japanese suit wearing types to "copyright" infringe on publicly available videos. NOTHING IS OUT OF HAND HERE, CERTAINLY NOT. As it is, the film is set to hit Japanese theaters on October 20th.

She's out in December for 6,615 yen, stands 180mm tall, and makes me weep that prices seem to be on the rise industry wide. What's this no inflation in Japan business?
