You know, I have this reader from New Zealand who doesn't like me. He says he's "meh" about me. That hurts my heart and simultaneously makes clear to me that he's pissed that we got the Flight of the Conchords TV series and they didn't. I still love you, my Kiwi friend. Anyway, since both of these figures are part of the same beast, I'm lumping these two gorgeous figures together into one post. First up, I think it's the loli you've all been waiting for. FREEing has slapped up their Kyon no Imouto 1/4 scale figure. Man, FREEing nailed the important details here. The fit of the bunny outfit, the lack of stockings. Everything fits properly. There are truly some loli specialists at FREEing, I must say. She's out in October for 8,800 yen.
And there's no (official) pictures of him, but apparently MaxFactory is putting together an Emiya Kitsurugu figure for January. If you follow Moeyo, you probably saw him a few weeks back. He seriously looks really badass. And he'll go hella nice with Saber/zero. Now I'm considering ordering her. Oh man, what should I do?! WHAT SHOULD I DO?! Save money… but that's no fun.
Hit the jump for some shots of Kyon no Imouto in all her gigantic glory.

Stop coming out with good figures, damnit! Take a break! Have some lemonade! Eat some cake! Sleep a little! Stop stalking my wallet! :(
They have Kiritsugu pictured with Saber/ZERO on her GoodSmile site too.

There's something really funny about the fact that the least disturbing of those four figures is Kyon no Imouto. ;)
(These figures always kind of weirded me out: the hips on Haruhi are crazy; Mikuru looks kind of awkward and something's not right with her face; Tsuruya's boobs are a little weird and looking at the figure from the front makes her look fat. But Kyon no Imouto? Perfectly done.)

I have to say, I don't really like Kyon's imouto. But I already have two and the third very soon. I don't know why, but she reminds me of a piece of bubblicous gum. Guess I'll only get one this time. She comes with two hands by the way.
I gotta disagree with you gia. The figures looks amazing in person. They are by far superior to the other haruhi figures out so far. Except maybe a tie with the max factory.

Flight of the Conchords is only the tip of the iceberg. There are so many shows we don't get in NZ. Ah well, that's what importing is for.
I really want to like the Tsuruya figure in this series but the facial expression just doesn't work for me. I like the rest of the figure and they've done a great job on them overall. Kyon no Imouto is really a great piece of work though, I think it's the best of the four.

I don't dislike you, Randall, sheesh - see, I even brought you new readers *points to above comment*. I'm sorry your heart is hurt, but now my heart is hurt too because though you still love me, you think I'm a guy.
What I mean by meh is kinda like this figure. Nicely sculpted and coloured, but I haven't even gotten around to finishing watching The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi yet, plus 1/4 scale seems a bit too large. Not to mention the whole moe loli thing really doesn't do anything for me. For the right person I'm sure it's great, but me, I find it meh.

Apologies for assuming you are a guy. Haha. That's just how I tend to assume things are, especially when I'm "meh." (The ladies just LOOOOVE me, you know? … …) Thanks for the new reader though! I always love having more people to chat up in comments and more opinions going around, etc, etc.
And sorry about the moe loli thing. Anyone who actually talks to me, rather than just the comments knows my taste in characters runs fairly on the opposite side of that (I'm a big fan of the more broken characters. Not in the cutesy tsuntsun way either). But hey! That's the industry, and while it's not my main cup of tea, it's still good fun. Good mindless fun. Which maybe I push a bit much on that site… :'(
A girl who uses RSS? The world has gone mad.

Haha, I hope the FotC didn't pull up some raw emotions there. I love New Zealand (and not just for the All Blacks, lul sports) and it seems hardly fair that you guys aren't getting their show via some special… you know… HBO… thing. But then, there's always the internet.
As to Kyon no Imouto and Tsuruya, well, I'm a like… super picky nerd (I have to be a bit for sake of only buying one figure per month), so I really have issues with all of them. While I do think Kyon no Imouto is the best so far, something about her face makes her sort of look like Kyon on a loli body. Which both makes me laugh and weep. Maybe it's just too big. Ah, I'm never any good and pinning down anatomical issues like that.
