Wellllll, long weekend. What can I say? I needed it. I'm still on vacation, sort of. Not sure how the new job is going to be for posting news. I'll give you an update on that next week. Looks like most people got their prizes. Anyone who got one, but isn't a regular reader is an asshole. Just saying. Anyway, I've missed quite a bit of stuff, so here we go.
Anime/Manga/Games
- Ok, well, I don't have my shit set up for downloading streams and shit, but hey, a link is just as good. GONZO's animation for the Bandai gaming thingy, Duelpod, is online. You can hit the stream over here, if you care.
- And here's some footage from the CLANNAD movie. Yay CLANNAD?
- And if that's not enough, it keeps going. Here's a trailer from the upcoming Ghost Hound anime.
- Hidamari Sketch is getting an hour long special on October 18th.
- A new Aa! Megami-sama movie is coming. It's called Aa! Megami-sam: Tatakau Tsubasa!
- xxxHolic is getting a second season… yay?
- A pair of hot, sexy live action announcements. First up, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is getting a live action thingy. Should be creepy, sexy, inappropriate.
- Secondly, the yaoi fan manga, Mousou Shoujo Otaku Kei is getting a live action series. It's due out this fall.
- Also, proving that there is no bastion for the people WHO ARE SANE, Moetan episode six was banned from broadcast in Japan. It'll appear on the DVDs, but hey, Japan's headed for that terrible place where they just ban shit like in ENGLAND. You know, that wonderfully forward thinking country, where you can ban things. Bah, I'm too tired to bitch about it presently.
- Kara no Kyokai trailer! I'm getting lazy, damnit.
- You guys been stoked that thing from that FMA guy? I BET! Juushin Enbu, or whatever it was has a trailer online.

- Ok, it's late and I need to compile some things… I'm going to shoot through these. Also, I lost my backups when I reformatted, like an idiot. DAMNIT!
- Here's a sweet Jigoku Shoujo figure. It's out in December for 7,329 yen.
- Remember that sexy Halloween Girl resin kit from a ways back? Well, she's getting a PVC and that makes us all winners! She's out in October for 7,980 yen.
- Also, Yamashita Shunya's latest figure is up for preorder. It's a quality piece. I'd totally hit it. Like, in the butt. It's out in October for 6,090 yen.
- Also, if you're big on eroero here's a pair of figures from Yankin Byoutou. Remember kids, don't tell your parents.

Was the first one that good? I'd head that the animation was so bad that the show was unwatchable. I do enjoy the manga, though. It's JUST starting to pick up in volume 9. (Only following the English)

Don't know what is the public opinion about xxxHOLiC, but I personally count it among my favorite animes.
I enjoyed the show very much, and didn't really care about the animation which is absolutely not important IMO in that kind of anime.
I think the best part of this serie is how the seiyuus make their character so interesting.
So, I'm really happy to heard that there will be another season. Moreover, the first one ended strangely, so it's even more a good news for fans :)

The Ai figurine is wonderful. I especially love her expression. It's so…sad, peaceful, and contemplative all at the same time.
