You know, I never really stop to consider the titles of a lot of the posts on ikimashou, but if you're not really familiar with things, the above title must just read like some retarded, crazy-person language. goo, a site I link with some regularity, has shots of the latest in the .hack series, .hack//G.U. TRILOGY. The shows is going to be an OVA, presumably 3-disc, and will be, tragically, entirely done in 3DCG. The OVA, not sure if it's disc one or what, is out on January 25th. .hack will never end. Could look worse I guess.
The Code Geass website announced that they're releasing a pair of Code Geass DVD magazines, which will have character quotes, new audio recordings, all the end of episode previews, all the net radios with video, and a dictionary of terms. The first disc will also contain a decidedly sexy trailer for the second season. Still not word on a date. Possibly on the DVD trailer. First one hits on December 21st and the second is on January 25th. They'll run 3,990 yen each.
Now, nothing makes me happier than when stands up in the face of ignorant censorship, especially when they censorship is voluntary (SHAMEFUL!). animate.tv has stood up to the stuffy network types and over sensitive way-getters and is going to be airing Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai online starting with episode 12 and going forward, to begin on October 24th. That sentence didn't turn out so hot, but you get it. Each episode will be free for a week, then go up for regular price. To use it, you'll need Windows (wine on Linux), IE (IE on wine), and a Japanese proxy… I mean… IP address.
The official site for the upcoming anime TV series kure-nai has been put online. It's only pre-opened for the moment so there's not a whole lot to be seen there other than some samples of the character designs. Will they look like that in the show? Most assuredly! They always do, after all. No idea when it's out. It'll probably give some details on the site or on the next volume of the light novels, if there are anymore. No idea since I don't read it. Still, the characters look good. I'll take it!

Animators and directors in Japan have started a union. Normally, I'm fairly against unions and more in favor of a government putting people before industry, but the likelihood of that happening in Japan is next to nil. So good on the animators! Hopefully they can get a fair wage and the Japanese government will take a few notes. Well, for those of you that haven't said your prayers and asked forgiveness, there's still reason to rejoice in this world. Specifically, there's a trailer out advertising the upcoming DVD release of Kodomo no Jikan's first volume. That means fixed up animation wherever it may have been lacking, all that good stuff. The first disc will also see a limited edition that comes in a school backpack. 20,000 will be made, names and addresses will probably be taken.

Yatterman, some crap-o-licious old anime, is getting remade and is getting the "Golden Timeslot" in Japan. It's like I can hear Patrick Macias get a nasty old man boner all the way over here.
Daiki is doing a 1/4 scale Majikina Mina. These initial proto shots look really good… and Daiki is a generally trustworthy company… I don't know that I completely trust this initial shots though. Let's wait an see. She might end up being worth the 23,100 yen this January.
NEXT! From Akane Maniax, via CharaAni, comes… Samba version Akane. She looks pretty good… bodysuit is a bit odd. Anyway, she's 1/7 scale, 230mm tall and will run you 8,190 yen this January.
Continuing along, from Yotsunoha, is Nono-chan! She's not really that great looking which is understandable with her coming from Toys Planning. She's 6,500 yen, out in November, and stands 180mm tall.
