Gake no Ue no Ponyo, otherwise known as The Little Ponyo that Could, has had its website put online. And true to the form of most things Ghibli, the website makes me feel at least a little bit sick and overwhelmingly ill-at-ease. Sort of like Dr. Seuss, only not as whimsical. You can go to the site and see… the poster and some ugly Japanese people in suits. I assume that they are connected with the CD that's getting released, but I got all urpy and decided I'd be better off looking at pictures of veneral diseases and aborted foeti. I think I am right.

For those of you who are… I guess… into soul eating, Soul Eater is getting an anime. At least, that's what MoonPhase tells me. And they are never wrong about anything ever. Soul Eater was originally one of those action manga things and the anime they're developing will run for a year, so I assume 52 episodes, give or take. It's set to hit TVs this coming spring. Hopefully the charm of the characters is brought over in the anime adaptation. Mmm, charm.

Alliteration applies aplomb to the appreciation of… ahhh, that's not even funny, is it? Well, to hell with it. A sixth Angelique anime is in the works. It's slated to be a TV anime called Neo Angelique Abyss. There's no website, which makes this news thoroughly boring, so… I don't know… go masturbate or something.

Well, well, well. Sadly, the shoujo fad that these girls have latched onto isn't dead yet. Still, a shoujo romance anime, Special A, is being made with character designs that don't look like they were pulled out of some Steven Tyler nightmare shop of horrors. While the bodies still look like some sort of fucked up human taffy pull gag, the faces might be bearable. But the story will be garbage romantic poo that gives women, and the faggoty men of the anime blogging scene, unrealistic expectations.

The nasty face shoujo poo stain will be out next year. No offense to shoujo fans.

Now, while BOST is not using the same sort of format that I suggested for doing things, they are still making an effort. Although, according TO ALL THE MOST IMPORTANT ECONOMISTS IN THE WORLD, this will cause them to actually lose money and their families will be shamed, etc. Anyway, the service could be rounded out a lot more, they could use a web designer, and I AM JUST THE MAN TO DO IT. Still, they've got potential, people. I know you cheap fuckers won't go for it, but if they do it right, they could really work their shit.

Anyway, they've posted up Keitai Shoujo for the US. You can hit that for free, the quality is pretty good. Not quite LQ download, but waaaay better than streaming services generally are.

Boy howdy, I sure to like to fling insults at people. It's probably ranked first or second as far as my favorite past-times go. And it gets every one's panties in a bunch. • Looks like Tears to Tiara is getting an anime. Likewise, the PS3 game promises to be sexy.
• And from the same MoonPhase report, Utawarerumono is getting a three episode OVA. YAY OVA!
• Moegaku 5, which looks painfully fucking stupid, is going to be ruining lives starting on January 14th. Pardon my skeptecism, but magical girl/bishounen parody anime sounds like a recipe for trouble, especially given the website.
• Ayakashi's got a trailer up. It's a .lzh file. Winrar will take care of it on Windows, Linux doesn't suck so no worries, and Macs… well it's fucking WMV anyway, so good luck.
