• Junjo Romantica is getting an anime. Some site reported it, but pulled it. Haha. Yaoi shame made them remove it. YAOI SHAME!
• Ramen Tenshi Pretty Menma, a game world from Genshiken (really? I need to reread Genshiken…), is getting its own anime. Hopefully they keep the Kio character designs. I LOVE HIS LADIES!
• Mai-Otome is getting an OVA called Mai-Otome 0~S.ifr and… it'll be a prequel. So less lesbian overtones, I guess.

• Here's Max Fac's Taiga from Toradora! She's the hot shit. 5,800 yen in December.
• Corticarte Apa Lagranges from Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica is coming from Good Smile Company. BOY HOWDY. Honestly, I like Corticarte when she's not smiling like a typical chick. FROWNS PLOX! She'll run you 6,300 yen December. Is GSC MAKING A COMEBACK!??!

Well, I skipped a bunch of figures, and they were OK, but I think you guys will live. NOT WORTH MY TIME! INEEDSLEEP! FUCK YOUUUUU! But still, I love you. I love you all. Especially the girls. Awwww yeah.

Who is the best character in all of the Fate universe? Clearly it's TAIGAAAA~! Which is why I'm totally stoked about the new Fate/tiger colosseum trailer that's up on the official site in flash format. Man, Alter's really gone all out with their latest figure. This time around it's Exelica from Trigger Heart -Exelica- and wow. The detail is wonderful and the accessories just outrank anything I've seen out of the big three so far. Really, just everything looks good here. It's a super solid sculpt to go along with a figure with huge ambitions. And it has a huge price to go along with it. A huge, but fair price. Man, just… fuck talking about it more. She's out in December, she's 1/8 scale and 260mm tall on the stand, which I hope they don't skimp on in production, and she'll cost you 15,540 yen.

Man… for a guy with a 10,000 yen cut off, this figure has me going over my numbers to see if I can slice some things out of it… Wonderful. Hit the jump for a well deserved FOURTEEN pictures.

Well, somehow, I deleted the RSS item and forgot entirely about this and now everyone and their homely cousin has posted it up. But hey, it's like I explained to everyone, I don't give a capybara's vagina about being first. If I did, I'd probably not have a day job. Anywho, it was announced yesterday that the Haruhi PS2 game would come with a previously mentioned Haruhi Figma posable figure. Really, I have to say that even though I am still skeptical of the whole posable thing, the Figma line is wearing away at my angst. The special edition box will run you 10,290 yen for the game and the figure. Not a terrible price considering. The game itself will run you 7,140 yen. Look for both of them on shelves January 31st of next year.

Well, well, well, well, well, well, well. Too much? Ok, I'll pull it back a bit. ALTER has come out with their announcements for… well, one is for November and one is for December. But who's counting?! Let's get right to it. For Haruhi fans that feel like Max Factory stopped just a bit short of a total fourgasm with the figures, ALTER is picking up the slack with their announcement of Tsuruya meido ver. Yessir. That's the good stuff. Let's hit the important parts first. For one, yes, she is of top notch quality, as you would expect. Secondly, yes, she has a fang. If this is the PVC girl you've been waiting for, then get your preorders in now. She'll be out in November for 6,090 yen and will stand 180mm tall.

Next up, it's Death-sensei from Peace@Pieces and boy howdy, I may have just found my December figure. The coloring on this figure is amazing and the sculpt is beautiful. Seriously. This is some top quality shit. But as much as I run my mouth about it, nothing speaks like pictures, so I'll save my fanboying over Peace@Pieces for more private venues and just give you the vitals and get to the pictures. She's out in December for 6,615 yen, stands 180mm tall, and makes me weep that prices seem to be on the rise industry wide. What's this no inflation in Japan business?

Well, here I am again looking like a hopeless Sony fanboy, but this time, I promise, it's a hopeless Kojima fanboy that I'm wearing the shoes of. Yessir, that man is a golden god, and the 15 minutes of play that I saw here have only made my penis harder. Seriously, this game is going to pwnz, and the story is going to be hot sex. Everyone loves visual novels, right? If not, you better learn to love them. You're missing out. Ahhhh, fuck. I forgot what I was going to say after that. Anyway, the Myself ; Yourself visual novel is getting turned into an anime, so sayeth singer KAORI's homepage. The anime is due out in October. It better be good. Especially Oribe Aoi. Mmmm.

Well, it's been a while since I hit up some news that no one else had bothered to cover, so let me get you some information that I think you might like. Now, recently, I'd been a bit bummed that all the games coming out were hitting the PS2 still, and was wondering when a visual novel company was going to bring the funk to the PS3. Well, AquaPlus has answered my fevered cries and announced Tears to Tiara. Now, I am an unapologetic PS3 fanfaggot, so there you go, but this news was JUST what I had been hoping for. Thank you, AquaPlus. If you're like me, you're probably all balls out wanting more of a taste of what's going on here. Well, there's two options there. More info will be in the July 27th issue of Famitsu Weekly, and you can hit Famitsu Web for a run down and some screens. I haven't had a chance to read through, but it's looking like some turn based RPG action there. Will it ever see US release? NOPE! Not likely, anyway. Unless Atlus goes after it.

I'll try to take care of figure news tomorrow. I'm really busy with work and getting ready for Otakon. You guys understand. I'll try to do some blogging from there… or whatever. I doubt I will be paying attention to any announcements, really. Who knows. I don't.

Hey alrighty! We heard…. about a million years ago… that Disgaea 3 was being worked on from some NIS exec in an interview. Well, now it's been officially confirmed by Nippon Ichi[PDF]. Yes kiddies, we will soon have our sexy hands on some sexy smexy new Disgaea. And we will play it for a million hours. And it will be good. Also, let me take a moment to thank NIS for doing it up right and leaving things sprited as opposed to trying to do some crazy 3D bullshit. I'm no into that. 2D is the way for me. Now I just want a sweet ass Guilty Gear HD for my PS3. And none of that weird adventure game business they're doing for the 360.

Well, well, well. I promised super sexy PVC this afternoon. Have I ever been one not to deliver? HAVE I?! No, I never have. And Alter has graciously allowed me to keep true to my word. Their latest figure comes from one of Nitro+'s amazingly sexy eroge works, Zoku Satsuriku no Jango. The sculpt on the announced Donne Anonime (billed as Namae no Nai Onna [or The Nameless Woman]) is absolutely superb. Sexy and awesomely colored, Donne is really quite obviously an Alter piece. Man, I'm having trouble concentrating. I'm just staring at it. Haha. She's 1/8 scale, 245mm tall, and will run you (oh god, we're on the cusp of another price hike) 7,140 yen this November. I'm getting it anyway. Well… this or Fauna.
