Well, there's another trailer online. This one doesn't even really try to amount to anything. Yes, Tsubasa Tokyo Revelation's new trailer comes in at a depressingly flaccid 15 seconds. You barely start to connect with the man-on-man sex innuendo before it's over. Much the way you would expect from a careless love such as CLAMP. Anyway, the first OVA comes out as part of the manga volume 21 on November 16th.
Well, you can download the WMV from over here and the DailyMotioning is up after the jump. Might not get around to figures again tonight, by the by. Very busy with some other… OLDER BROTHER type things. GET IT?!?! If not, look it up. Or ask a friend.

The pope called for an international day of mourning today as news came out that there wasn't going to be a HoiHoi-san anime. As it goes, one of the hard working ubermensch over at Moon Phase misread something, or something, and it turns out that Dengeki Black Maoh's announcement was for the new manga… which makes no sense, as we all fucking know that already from the announcements in Maoh and all over the intertrons. But on the other hand, if enough people get all buzzy about it, it could still happen. NEVER GIVE UP! Although, if they had an OVA back in 2004 and it's still not a full TV show… hmm. Maybe Legacy will give it a stat bump BE SAD, PEOPLE!
The very first volume of the new Dengeki Maoh Black, which hits next week, came along with some good news. Inside the new quarterly Maoh spinoff game the delicious news that Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san is getting turned into an anime. Dengeki's official site has a few screen shots up (looks like from a DVD one-shot or something) as well. No word on a potential release date.
Secondly, from a book I tend to avoid like the plague, Comic Ran Twins has announced that the gag manga Sengoku Gakudou Nikki: Sensei no Chonmage is getting an animated series… sort of. The show will appear as interludes during Fight Tension School starting on October 6th.
Also, sorry for not figure news last night. I was busy playing Heavenly Sword. It's so sexy. Oh man.
You know, I don't think anything really gets the ol' blood pumping quite like a good Kodomo no Jikan news post. And this one will certainly get the blood pumping this early in the morning. A Kodomo no Jikan OVA PV has been put online on the KnJ website. The site describes the trailer as unfit for broadcast, so that's certainly a plus. The first episode of the OVA is already floating around online, though I don't know if KnJ volume four is out quite yet. All that's well and good, though. It'll find its way to those who want it soon enough (read: me), so in the mean time just enjoy the trailer.
The stream is over this way, and the DailyMotion is in the normal spot. Hit the jump and give yourself a little early morning treat. Man, Genshiken yesterday, and KnJ today. The quality trailers keep rolling in. Seriously, this trailer is just great.

Shougakukan's website has announce that two of its Weekly Young Jump manga titles are set to be made into live-action films scheduled to hit theaters sometime in 2008. The lucky two are Kurosagi, which follows… Kurosagi has he goes after a group that targeted his family. This one already had a TV show, so most of the people are coming on for the movie. Ikigami is about a policy where random lower class citizens are assigned an ikigami, which means they have 24 hours to live. SOUNDS UPBEAT! Anyway, Kurosagi is out summer of 2008 and Ikigami will hit in the fall of 2008. Aaaaannnd… that's about it.
The Genshiken official anime website has been updated for the new season and shows off the new character designs and has some fun bits about the OP/ED and the cast. It's looking like there might be hope for the Genshiken anime, despite the rather poor showing in the OVA. The trailer certainly gives me hope for a new world. A world where Genshiken's anime finally lives up to the manga. Be sure to keep an eye out for Oono figures in the background. Just like how KyoAni snuck BUBBA's Haruhi resin into the background of Konata's room in Lucky Star. GOOD STUFF! Though, why the guys would have Oono figures, especially a bikini and clothes changing one… hard to explain.Anyway, just enjoy the damn trailer. I know I did. You can catch the stream here. It was being finicky, so you might want to stick with the DailyMotion after the jump. The choice is yours.
Edit: Ok, finally fixed that. Fucking Firefox plugin was confusing the shit out of the Wordpress visual editor.

Wow, are you guys feeling a little neglected? Haha, yeah I'm feeling pretty neglected, too. Work is going well. Might be able to do some posting during the days. I am still working out how my hours will work. Also, my car died like a mother fucker. So I am working that out, getting a new one. So that's why I've been late this week. Apologies. Well, let's roll this shit up.

Figures
And that's really it, it looks like. Maybe, I'm crazy. But hey! What seems like it. Sorry for the delays, etc, etc. I'll get shit under control in a week or two, you know?
Well, you know, I've been chilling out max and relaxing all cool. Right, I'll stop that now. I'm going to go ahead fill you fuckers in on the news from the week. HOW DOES THAT SOUND?! It sounds good, doesn't it? Well, good. I'll go ahead and get going with that now. SEE?! I'm not dead! Just lazy on my week off.
Anime/Manga/Games
Figures
- These were around forever ago, but it's POSABLES FROM SENGOKU RANCE! Yep. I don't think I feel like looking up info on them… Names and such. I used to know them. Nanjo is 8,190 yen and the other is 9,240 yen. They're out in August.
- In GOOD figure news, Furinji Miu from Tandem Twin is coming your way. Thank you, Capcom. I hadn't seen anything good this week, I was getting a bit weepy. HobbySearch has some good shots. Out in October for 5,800 yen.
- In the same series, same price, same month, Capcom is giving us Kosaka Shigure. She isn't as good looking to me as Furinji, but still! STILL! 5,800 yen in October.
Yessir, that was a good quick rollup. Glad this week was sort of slim. LETS ME BE LAZY! YAY! I wish I could just be lazy for forever. FOREVER! Yeaaah, just trying to fill space. Ok, I'm done.
Well, the anime adaptation of the wonderful sci-fi yuri manga Blue Drop finally has some fruits for us to scrutinize. The show, to be called Blue Drop ~Tenshi-tachi no Gikyoku~ (which comes roughly to The Drama of the Angels), is looking pretty good in goo's screenshots. I'm not remembering the manga's aesthetic being like this, but I don't know that such a thing means the anime won't turn out well. Hell, I like Blue Drop, so hopefully it does well being turned across and they don't over commercialize the product by playing up the girl-love or over-doing the action. I WANT IT DONE RIGHT, PEOPLE!
Prize winners from the way old contest: Your shit is packed up and ready to be mailed off, I just haven't had a chance to run to the post office. No worries. Gonna try to get there tomorrow, if not should be able to next week. YOU WILL GET PRIZES, I SWEAR! Still swamped at work. Pity me.
