So! Drama fans will be pleased to hear that two books are getting the live action treatment. WildLife, which is the story of a delinquent who, as if by shitty story magic, turns into a veterinarian, is the first one that's set to get turned. No real information yet on when, or who will be in it. But who needs that shit anyway!
TBS is going to be carrying the adaptation of the manga Daisuki!! Yuzu no Kosodate Nikki. Now, let me explain the plot in my own crude idiom. A freaky retarded womanchild gets knocked up by a freaky retarded manchild, who dies; at this point, the tard with the vagina raises the baby herself. Probably the baby is retarded as well. I know, it's the height of entertainment. I guess so long as it helps people pretend like they really understand something… then it's awful. AWFUL! SHAAAAME! Karina, the model, will be starring. Starts January 17th.
Say, are you bored? Well then maybe you'd like to catch 17 minutes of the upcoming Souta-kun no Akihabara Funtouki spin-off OVA, Yawaraka Sangokushi Tsukisase!! Ryofuko-chan. Well, if you just click that pretty little link right above this text, you'll be sent along to nico^2 where you can see those 17 minutes, along with 800 Japanese people typing "wwwwww." That's basically lulz. I can't for the life of me remember when it comes out, but I'm sure it'll be good fun. Also, as of this writing nico^2 is down for maintenance.
Nitro+ has thrown me into the depths of despair by posting a streaming flash PV of their upcoming GONZO collaboration KARAS II: The Ripoffening. I meaaaan… BLASSREITER -genetic-. It looks crap, honestly. I'm sorely depressed that I caught two glimpses of women in the entire thing. Nitro+, please, let's discuss this rationally before you fall into GONZO's failpit. Stop with the crappy 3DCG and the lack of women and make a good show for us. I AM BEGGING HERE! It could have been a good show!
Kite fans, now, maybe you want to sit down before you read this. I know you're keyed up, shouting to yourself "DELAYED UNTIL WHEN, YOU SON OF A BITCH!?!" Well, the news is pretty grim. Kite Liberator, originally slated to see its release on January 25th has been delayed indefinitely. The news isn't all bad. They're not canning the hour long OVA, they're just taking time out to ensure production quality is top notch across the entire show.
Well, well, well. Fans of fully animated eroge bits will be pleased. For, on this day, the opening for Ashita no Kimi to Au Tameni ~Till I Reach Your Tomorrow~ has been put online with mirrors at A BILLION different sites. The opening does have a bit of nudity in it. I only bold that so people know. I'd go with this mirror right here if you don't know what you're looking for. The game hits stores on November 30th. And since it's a Purple Software game, it should be pretty good.
WHAT A SHORT MEDIA ROLLUP THIS WEEK! So, in lieu of a boring sort of rant up here, let me just pose a question to you. I've got myself a passport and the urge to travel. I'll be in LA over Christmas and New Years, but where do you guys think I should head? Any country is fine to recommend. Japan's a bit obvious on the list as well. So where should I vacation? Think on it while I rollup this sexy material.
- Persona - trinity soul - has had its website finally put online. I know I linked it in the original post, but I'll link it again for you ladies.
- Porfy no Nagai Tabi is getting an anime. It's another of those feel good children's book adaptations. Wake me when the quality comes back.
- AND! A pair of trailers. Sadly, I'm not going to be shitted to download them. I'm sure they'll be on YouTube in a day or so. First up, and of zero interest to me, Macross F has a trailer online. And it's already on YouTube.
- DAMN THE MAN! And true tears has a trailer online, which is slightly more interesting to me. True Tears hits this January. Which is coming on faster than it seems. Which means I'll have to pay rent again soon. NUTS TO THAT!
And that's it! So tell me where I should go. And thanks for reading the site. Makes it good fun to do knowing that people read it.
Well, well my Ikkitousen loving brothers. Vengeance is ours. With an unapologetically perverse new attitude (redesigning a site does that to people), it looks like you guys won't have to go digging around for uncensored shots of the new Kanu Unchou -LTD DX ver.- figure from Griffon. Yes, that's right, she's 130mm tall and 1/7 scale… kneeling. And she's removing those troublesome bits of shirt. The face is a bit lame, but otherwise, I'd hit that. On the plus side? It's only 6,825 yen. Just in time for Christmas too, with the December release. So tell your girlfriend to fuck off with the cakes, you want a sex goddess for Christmas. And she ain't it.
Haha, if anyone actually does the above, please let me have a detailed transcript of the event for my own records. By the way, viewing this post signifies that you realize you are about to see tit and hold me not responsible for any stupidity on your own part. Amen. Oh, and one last time, I was in this podcast. Please do listen.

Whaaat? Individual figure postings? RANDALL MUST HAVE LOST HIS SHIT! (Also, he was in a podcast… listen to it.) Now, now. I told you guys I was back on the… horse… wagon… or whatever. First up from Daibanchou, via Artstorm, is Shion. She is a cute little pink-haired, concerned girl that is going to lean. At least it certainly looks that way. Just the same, she looks pretty ok, not really my type though. Her stockings remind me of dots candy. The kind where you have candy dots on paper, and you always eat as much paper as candy… delicious. Anyway she's 1/7 scale and made of scale-based lies as she stands 200mm tall. Out in March for 6,800 yen.
Secondly, same show, same producer, but this time the character is Kyoudou Senna. Certainly you can tell French Doll laid hands on this one (the other was Sunny Day, both from Cerberus Project). French Doll is quickly becoming the new BOME with uninspired stuff like that. Still decent, but not one the lever. There's no HEART IN IT. She's 1/7 as well and 220mm tall. She will be out in March for 6,800 yen as well.
Now hit the jump for a couple of shots of each lady, give or take.

I'm sure that not too many of you here are huge Detroit Metal City fans, and that's ok. I'm not either. It sort of sicks me out in a sick and out sort of way. Anyway, MoonPhase had information that the next issue of Young Animal would feature an announcement to the effect that Detroit Metal City was getting both an anime and a live-action movie. Entirely possible, as it's a popular book, but the announcement has since been removed (which MoonPhase also notes). It could mean that the announcement was just premature or it could mean that the information was inaccurate and part of some right-wing conspiracy to lull the youth of today into a false sense of security.
But that's boring! In other news, I am in the latest Japanator podcast. And boy howdy was I censored to high fuck. It's amazing, really. I couldn't stop laughing every time it bleeped something I said. Pure comedic genius, the swear-bleep. Anyway, please listen to it and then GIVE ME PRAISE! Else I won't know you all really love me. Deep down in your pockets.
Well, MoonPhase is awash in delicious news. That's the second time I've said "awash" today. I think that's the upper limit. Anyway, news comes that both the mystery manga Bus Gamer and the light novel series Toshokan Sensou are getting anime adaptations. Studio Izena is going to be handling the animation duties for Bus Gamer, which promises… to… it doesn't promise anything. It has a rookie director as well. And it's out sometime next year.
The same MIGHT have been said for Toshokan Sensou, but it looks like Production I.G will be taking care of producing the anime and it is also due out next year. Yay for non-shit anime! YAAAAAY!
